Repair Timescales3D Man - Timescales

  • Emergency repairs – Repairs that are a threat to the safety and security of the tenant or a repair which is causing damage to the structure.  We will make safe within 2 hours and complete within 24 hours.

  • Floods - No power, loose/dangerous electrical fittings, insecure doors/locks, broken glass.

  • Non Emergency Repairs – Those repairs not included as an emergency and not under the heading of cyclical and planned will be completed within 3 working days.      

  • Tenant arranged – You can make a morning or afternoon appointment via the maintenance team at your convenience.      

  • Right  to Repair -  All Registered Social Landlords have a statutory “Right to Repair” duty as set out in the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001.    When you advise us of a repair problem, we will tell you whether the repair falls under this scheme.  This means that if qualifying repairs are not attended to within the agreed timescale (1-7days) you have the right to appoint another contractor from the Associations approved list to carry out the work. You are also eligible for compensation for the inconvenience if the repair is not carried out within the set timescale. For more information download the Right to Repair Leaflet.

  • Out of Hours Emergencies – Please call our City Building on 0800 595 595 to report any emergencies. Please also contact City Building for any heating faults 24/7.

    Please note this is for emergencies only and any routine repairs should be reported to the Association the next working day.
