Aids & Adaptations

Each year the Association sets aside a budget to allow us to carry out a range of Adaptations to our tenants homes to allow them to remain in their current home or to simply make life easier for them.

The adaptations include grab rails, hand rails (both internal and external) showers over bath, shower trays, wet floor showers and access ramps.

Before the Association can instruct the works an Occupational Therapist Assessment or Social Work Assessment is required.  If a tenant does not have an OT or Social Worker and feel they need an assessment speak to your GP and ask your GP to refer you.
