The Association provides a comprehensive repairs service to ensure that our buildings are maintained to the highest possible standard. For owners, the repair service provided is for all the common and external parts of the property. All internal repairs are the responsibility of the owner.
The invoice will detail the cost attributed to the you, the owner, after is has broken down and split equally amongst tenants & owners
Stair Lighting
Glasgow City Council provides this service with the cost paid by Cernach and recharged to owners through the quarterly invoice.
This service is provided through the Association's contractor Caledonian Maintenance Services.
Back Court Maintenance
This service is provided by the Association's contractor who maintain the back court areas and move the bulk refuse to the designated area for the Council's Cleansing Department to uplift.
Estate Maintenance
Similarly, to back court maintenance this service is to keep the communal areas within the estate tidy. However, this can only be carried out for the areas that are in Cernach’s ownership, Council land must be maintained by the Council.
We have a Bbock buildings insurance policy, which provides cover for owners who have opted into this service. The excesses for any claims made under the Policy are £250.00 regardless of whether it is an owner or tenant.
