We are committed to helping keep our customers safe at home. Fire safety is a shared responsibility, and by working together we can reduce the risk of fire and help protect everyone in our communities.
We maintain fire safety measures within our properties and communal areas and ask residents to help by keeping hallways, stairs and exits free from items that could obstruct escape routes or contribute to the spread of fire.
Your fire safety responsibilities
- Regularly test your smoke alarms
- Report any faulty/missing smoke/heat detectors as soon as possible
- Do not remove any of the fire detection equipment. It is there for your safety
- Keep detection equipment clean and do not paint over them
- Allow access to our contractors to test / replace equipment as required
If you have concerns about fire safety in your home, or would like advice on reducing fire risks, you can request a free Home Fire Safety Visit from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service on 0800 0731 999.
